About the Craftsman
I’ve been working on radiators for over 40 years. What started as a trade quickly became a lifelong craft — one that requires patience, skill, and a good understanding of how things were built back when machines were made to last.

While most modern shops shy away from antique radiators, I specialize in them. I take on the restorations others won’t touch — copper-brass units from the early 1900s through the 1950s. These radiators aren’t just cooling devices; they’re part of the vehicle’s character. My job is to preserve that originality.

Over the decades, I’ve restored hundreds of radiators for vintage cars, trucks, and tractors. Every one is different. Some need a full re-core. Others need only a small repair and careful cleanup. When possible, I save the original tanks and fittings. I aim to make each unit functional, reliable, and as close to factory-correct as possible.

This isn’t a big operation. I work out of a small shop, one job at a time. If you send me a radiator, I’ll personally handle the teardown, cleaning, soldering, and testing. There’s no assembly line — just hands-on work and attention to detail.
If you’re restoring a vehicle and want the radiator done right — by someone who respects its history — I’d be happy to take a look. Call or email with a photo and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
